Underground mining environments are enclosed, with severe dust and gas interference, and GNSS is completely unavailable. Navcore adopts IMU, odometer, and radar multi-sensor fusion to achieve positioning accuracy of <1% of travel distance and continuous positioning time of ≥8 hours.
Combined with vision, UWB, and IMU multi-source fusion and a safety warning system, the solution enables real-time tracking and monitoring of miners and equipment, effectively reducing accidents and enabling rapid location of trapped personnel. It also provides positioning continuity for autonomous mining equipment in critical areas such as slopes, curves, and blasting zones.
